This weekend Shane and I headed down to Utah for what was supposed to be just a day trip. It was my grandparent's 60th anniversary! We left Friday night right after work and went straight to my dad's house in Tremonton. We talked until midnight, hit the sack, and then woke up the next morning and headed to Logan to see some much missed family. I was pleasantly surprised to see almost the whole family there and was able to reunite with many of my cousins. We had a great time. After the party at the park, Dad took us up to see Gregory's grave site since we were unable to make it up there before now. It was wonderful to be able to spend a moment with Gregory. We headed back into Tremonton and then on a whim Shane and I decided to head further on into Salt Lake to see Stephanie, Mike, and the cutie Abby. We went to Leatherby's and again talked late into the night. We woke up early this morning, visited with Mom and Guy quickly as they were passing through Salt Lake on their way home, went to breakfast and then headed home. It was so much stuff packed in just two days that I'm grateful we are done traveling for about a month.
This is my absolute favorite temple!
Me and My Dad
My Dad, his four sisters, and Grandma and Grandpa Freeman
60 years together!
My youngest brother.
The reason Utah will always hold my heart... the mountains!
My adorable niece not so happy with Aunt Brat and her need to take cute little pictures of those beautiful blue eyes.

Brittnee, It was soooo good to see you this weekend! I'm so glad you made it to the picnic, and I'm so glad you have a blog so I can check in on ya and see what you are up to! Your hubby was so funny, and Dylan was talking about "the guy who likes lego starwars too!" Tell Shane that Dylan loves him for sure now! :) I'm going to try and catch up with your blog, and then I'm very excited to catch up with your sisters too! You are such a sweetheart, and I'm glad to know where you are again! Love ya!
Kim :)
