This morning, much to our utter surprise, we awoke to find dark clouds soaring in overhead. The lightning and roaring thunder wasn't to far behind. As Shane and I sat on our stairs and admired the beauty of the dark, menacing sky, we couldn't help but be grateful for the change in weather. It has been in the high 90's and low 100's for awhile now. Rain is therefore magical. It wasn't just a drizzle, a sprinkle, or even a drab, but it was torrential and pouring. My fifteen feet from my front door to my car left me soaked! It's beautiful, I'm loving it! Hooray for rainy days.Thursday, August 6, 2009
