References

This I believe is one of the hardest parts of the process. What these five references will say about you could be the reason you are or are not approved. Not to mention, we are asking five individuals to rate and grade our character. We decided to make this decision with the help of prayer. Our first decision was that before asking anyone else, we needed to have the Bishop talk with us and then fill out his reference first. Then prayerfully we chose the other four. We wanted a variety of time that our references had known us, as well as the environments that they knew us in. We ended up choosing two friends who knew each of us before we were married, and two who know us in a professional and working environment.


The exciting part is that all the references have been delivered to the respective people we asked and I included an envelope stamped and addressed for them to return to our LDS Family Services agency. Once they are received we will wait for a call from the agency and then we move straight into the HOMESTUDY! It's progressing so quickly and we are so excited that we decided to take this journey.
