Life has been CRAZY! I always thought that my last semester of college would breeze by; that all of the hard work I’ve spent in previous semesters would allot me a break and 16 weeks would be over in the blink of an eye. Oh boy oh boy was I wrong! These last four weeks have been excruciating. I’m really struggling in Calculus and spent four hours straight last night working out less than ten problems. Shane saw that I was about ready to scream and headed to the store for some caffeine, knowing I was going to pull an all-nighter. Somehow we are making it through though.
We’ve also celebrated both of our birthdays. We spent the weekend between our birthdays in Washington with Shane’s family. Both birthdays were very low key and very ordinary. My Mom and Dad sent me a bouquet of balloons to work and that was a little embarrassing as my office was full of people when they arrived, but I sure loved the surprise. I was terrified of having to walk home with those in hand but luckily Shane had given me the car for the day.
Other Random Happenings:
While in Washington I fell in love with this jacket at Macy’s. They didn’t have my size but I couldn’t walk away from it, I loved it that much. We searched nearby Macy’s and in the end had it shipped to our house from Spokane. It arrived on my birthday and I’m just ecstatic for the cold weather to hit. I swear I’ll probably wear it every day.
I also scored several milk glass vases. I've been collecting them for long time because I just love the way they look. Every time I go to the DI, that's the first thing I check out. Sometimes I strike out and others I come home with several. I totally lucked out on the last two I found.
I was happy to add these to my collection!
I'm working on several other projects. I'm making a T-Shirt quilt out of all of mine and Shane's old T-shirts. I've got a few sewing projects started. I'm working on getting my jewelry up and ready to sell online. I've schedule a few photography shoots. And I've got a new niece or nephew coming and it'll be fun to add a project for them to the list.
