Recent Craft Attempts and Credits

I've been hating my job lately.  I mean HATING.  It has been everything I have to be able to go to work each day.  After much talk with my husband (and prayer) we decided I needed to try and have a positive attitude and so while needing a break during my claim submissions at work one day, I made myself a really cheap subway art sign.  I loved the way it turned out so much that I can't wait to make a real nice version.

Then I ran across this wonderful little dude.  I haven't done much in the world of decorating, but I had to have this little guy and so I grabbed my scraps of beads and got to work.  I'm in love and think I need several more.

Lastly, I got the Downeast Basics catalog in the mail last week and fell in love with the multi-strand pearl beauty.  I had to have it.  In fact, I wanted it so bad, I dragged the husband to the mall on a Saturday (his least favorite day to shop).  They hadn't received their shipment yet so then I tried to find it online as well and it's coming soon.  I decided, I'd just have to make it even though it would cost me four dollars more to buy.  The top picture is the store bought, and the bottom is my version.  It's so wonderful when being worn.  It's my new favorite piece.
