House Projects

When we moved in, well really after the home inspection, we found a few things we were going to have to fix.  We learned the kitchen faucet and the garage door opener would have to be replaced.  Together it's quite a chunk of dough.  We struggled with a kitchen faucet.  We have an under-mounted sink and the faucet holes are 14 inches apart vs. the 10 inch standard.  All of the faucets we looked at and like had the 10-inch plate.  We ended up having to buy a faucet that fit into three holes without a deck plate which are considerably more pricey and there is less to choose from.  Overall, we are very happy with the result.  Shane stayed up very late on Thursday night to install it and we now have a functioning faucet.

Our next project is going to be the garage door opener.  With the help of a friend, we are installing it next week and are totally stoked for a working garage.
