Memories! Part three...

Then when all hope was lost and I didn't think life would ever be normal for me again, I walked into Little Caesar's and met the man of my dreams. Seriously! I walked in one day, much like I did any other day for the past six months, and finally met Shane. It was March 11, 2005 and he was the man behind the counter taking the money. I waited fro my order and while it was being cooked, Shane and I talked and joked. What actually took the conversation off to a good start was when Shane asked how I managed to work two jobs and take 16 credits, when he could barely manage one job and school. Our conversation was real and natural, it came easy. I left and came back twice, once for the Italian Cheese Bread, and the last time for the sauce. Shane handed me the sauce, hand shaking, and asked if I would like to see The Pacifier with him the next night. This is where Shane will interject that his bosses were teasing him as I had left the building by saying things like, "Hey Shane look, your spine just ran out the back door." I hesitated only long enough to make sure I didn't have any prior engagements like work (for the first time in many months I wasn't working a Saturday night), before saying yes and made Shane think he was being rejected before he realized I had actually said yes! I went next door told my mom I finally had a "real" date, and it wasn't until she asked me with who, did I realize that we didn't even know each others names! Never fear however, the next morning little Caesar's made one too many pizzas (which I say was on purpose but Shane swears to this day was accidental) and brought one next door to me to eat. When his boss came through the door, he explained why he was giving us a pizza and then said, so you are the one going out with Shane tonight. I was like Shane, that's his name, thank you! Then my boss yelled from the back her name is Brittnee by the way. Shane's boss didn't even make it out my door before he was doubled over laughing and told Shane as he walked through the Little Caesar's door that we were meant for each other because I didn't know his name either.

Shane and I dating!
