As I turn 23 today, I realize I have had some great years and some great memories. I can't believe I'm only 23 when somedays I feel like I've lived enough to be 30! It probably doesn't help that I married a man three years my senior.
Here are a few higlights to commemorate 23 perfect years!
When I was one year old I was terrified of Santa Clause. We have a home video where I am crying and screaming every time someon tried to put me close to Santa. I don't know how long I was stuck in this phase.
When I was between two and six years old I absolutely loved puzzles. I would sit on the top of the stairs in our house in Logan and do puzzles with Grandpa Freeman.
When I was six years old I got my first kiss. My aunt Leslie bribed Stephanie and I with staying out later if we would kiss two boys behind a fence. Stephanie and I stepped up to the plate and earned our right to play later.
When I was eight years old I got my ears pierced and was baptized.
When I was twelve years old I became a young woman and at my first mutual activity, (ice blocking) I sprained my thumb and then the next night at my first church volleyball game I served the ball from the far right hand corner straight into the basketball hoop on the far left center.
When I was thirteen years old my wonderful stepdad came into my life and we moved to my new home, Salt Lake City.
When I was fourteen years old I got my real first kiss. I was in eighth grade and madly in love with this boy.
When I was fifteen years old I got my first serious boyfriedn and we stayed together until I was eighteen years old.
When I was sixteen I got to drive and got my first job.
When I was seventeen I bought my own car.
When I was eighteen I graduated high school.
When I was nineteen I started college, and met and married the man of my dreams.
When I was twenty-one we bought our first "new" car and got a dog.
When I was twenty-two I flew on an airplane for the first time.
And when I was twenty-three? Well we will see what happens this year. It's bound to be a great one.

I love to hear more about you. I can't think of that kind of stuff to share. Thank you, it helps me get to know you better. Have you guys seriously thought about moving to TX? That would be so great. And, who knows, maybe you would fall in love and stay.
Mindi :)
