As several questions have come our way about whether or not we are making an announcement we can only answer yes and no. We are not expecting a baby and that is the no part, however, after both Shane and struggled to find peace in our own ways, we set an appointment for our first official adoption meeting on March 5th and have an expected home study date between May and July. That's still quite a ways off, but if all goes as planned we hope to have a baby by the end of this year or early next year. However, due to the tentative planning of the home study and the availability it can take anywhere from six months to two years and so it is really just a waiting game. We are hopelessly saving up every single penny and hoping it's enough in time for the home study and can't wait to start this exhilarating and kind of scary process. Hi sweetie. March 5th is a very lucky day!! Hannah was born on that day 17 years ago. I start to tear up knowing how much joy that she has brought to me and I KNOW...that you and Shane will have that joy soon. All of our prayers are with you.
