A New Kind of Tired...

Thanks to a lovely blog reader and old high school friend (you know who you are) who directed me to a wonderful running training program called "couch to 5k", I need to say thanks. Shane and I got up early in the morning and knowing we will miss our workouts for the next couple of days due to family visits decided to give it our all. We started out on the elliptical just warming up and then decided it just wasn't doing enough for us so we started the Biggest Loser Workout on DVD and that one caused me severe knee pain and so we decided hey it's warmer outside we'll go jog. It felt so fantastic. I've forgotten how fatigued running can make you after not doing it for so long, but the bright side of life is that we feel GREAT, and we are losing weight!
