Top Ten...

I was tagged by a friend (I'm assuming I was Brit) to post my top ten favorite pictures. This was a tough one because I chose thirty and then had to narrow them down. Because I had such a hard time picking just ten, these are by no means in order of favoritism. This is Shane and I in November 2008. I love this picture for several reasons. I love it because we took it by ourselves, I love it because we are holding hands, and I love it because not only are we holding hands walking into the unknown, but we are also walking into what looks like a never ending path-perfect for our eternity!

This pictures is one of my very favorites because this is my best friend and my bigger-little sister. Steph and I shared rooms for the greater part of 16 years! We walked to school together have almost always worked at the same places, and still have a close bond because of our time together. I am fifteen in this picture and Stephanie is sixteen.

I chose this picture because for those who know Shane and I, we love to laugh. Shane is a riot and keeps me on my toes. We try to never have a dull day in our house and truly enjoy each others company. This was our birthday celebrations in September 2008.
This picture means the world to me because it is the day I became a Gropp! This is us coming out of the temple doors. We are all smiles and so much in love. This was taken on our wedding day, July 1st, 2005.

This is my ABSOLUTE favorite picture of my honey! He served his mission in the Phillis and hadn't seen snow for two years. He came home in December to this and this is his first snow again after two years! Isn't he such a stud?
This picture is special for two reasons... one it shows how close I am to my family and how much they mean to me, but it also serves as a final moving on in life. At this time Mom made the move to St. Anthony, Idaho with Jared, where I soon followed, Kandi moved to Boise, Idaho and Steph remained in Salt Lake. It was a test of our family and our closeness as we proved to be stronger than distance! This photo was taken in 2004.
This is my Dusty! He is the first animal Shane and I ever added to our family. He got sick and died when he was just two years old. He was a spunky and loving cat. He used to hide and then chase my brother-in-law down the hall while attacking him. He is greatly missed. This picture is of him yawning (we were totally lucky to get this shot)

This picture is a remnant of our dating days. This was only a brief look into our fun-filled future. This picture has hung on my wall since the day it was taken and will always be a special photo from a special time in our lives.
This picture is huge! I'm a daddy's girl to my daddies! On the most important day of my life, one of my dads was there every step of the way. He has been such a great influence and profound person in my life. He's always there with advice, teasing jokes, hugs and kisses, and chocolate chip cookies. My favorite memory that stems from this day only an hour before this photo was taken was driving to the temple with him and me feeling like he was driving so slow. He was patronizing me. He kept asking are you nervous and it seemed we were taking the scenic route because he kept looking out the window. I kept thinking to myself, I wasn't nervous until you started driving slow! I even called Shane and told him don't worry I'm not leaving you at the altar. I love you Dad!

This is Boomer. Boomer oh Boomer! What to say about this little guy. He's a poser. Anytime I take a photo of him he has this little smile on his face and he holds absolutely still for the camera. He is my buddy. He is the only thing that keeps me sane as we struggle through the trial of having our own little family.

Now I tag all of you! It's a lot of fun!

Yeah, hope you don't mind that I called you Brit! :) SUPER fun pictures! It's fun to see how close you are with your family. I'm not as close as that with mine, so I LOVE seeing that part of your life!

Also, sidenote...So fun that Shane is friends with J O!! I met him in Rexburg our freshman year, and one of those people I think I probably broke his heart just by unintentionally being a stupid freshman girl, and really regret how I treated him without meaning to or realizing until after the fact. Call me sometime and I'll tell you the story :). Or ask him. I'm sure his version is more interesting. Are you guys still in touch with him? (I assume so...) Id love to hear what he's up to!

Oh, and he served a Tongan Speaking mission (part of our initial connection) and he wrote a "note" to me in Tongan and my Dad wasn't too thrilled when I asked him to translate it (nothing bad, just sweet...the kind of thing Daddy's don't want their girls getting)
