Ode to Netflix

Netflix has become an integral part of my sanity. I know this sounds pathetic and rightly so; however, I’m not sleeping much anymore with my husband typically gone five nights in a row and would rather not sit in an empty house with nothing to do. Netflix came to the rescue. The hubs just got X-box live a month ago and we can now stream instant videos to our TV at the click of the button. It’s absolutely fantastic, like going to the video rental store without leaving my warm house. Even better, if the movie bites, I can pick another one without any real trouble or any added fees. We get unlimited movies for $15 and I now have the chance to watch all of the mindless chick flicks, dramas, and kiddie movies that I knew Shane would not and will not endure with me. It’s been a life saver and I’m so grateful to have something to help me keep my mind off of being alone.
