Sure enough, we are finally buying a house. We were pre-approved yesterday and I'm going "shopping" tomorrow! I'm so excited to finally have a place all our own and am so grateful for the drop dead low prices on the houses out there right now making it possible to own one. Granted I realize cheap houses isn't a good thing, but it's the only way we'd ever manage! We've narrowed our originally 20 down to just 6 and we already have two favorites. We are hoping to put an offer on something next week. Our apartment lease is up at the end of the month and what better time than that to be moving into a house. I'll keep you updated as we make a final decision, get approved, close, and move in! Can we say painting party?

Yay! Congrats, and good luck with the hunt! It is such an awesome thing to own a home. Way to go! You'll have to post pictures when you get them! :) Love ya!
