Evolution of a Dress

I fell in love with this fabric in 9th grade!  Almost 10 years ago.  Loved it, had to have it, didn't care that it was drapery fabric. 

My amazing mom made it into this wonderful dress for my 9th grade Promotion dance.

Then because I absolutely adored this dress, I wore it again for my senior pictures in 12th grade.

Then as I finally outgrew the dress, my Mom made it into a perfect little skirt.  I always had a hard time finding a top I liked with it though and so didn't wear it as often as I would have liked. 

And then because it really couldn't get much smaller than this for me, I made it into the perfect baby girl's dress.  I'm loving it.  

Here's to hoping we adopt a GIRL first because this dress is just begging to be worn!
