I've had adoption on the brain for the last couple days now. I've been reading articles, success stories, and talking to friends who have had successful placements. Every time I think about adoption, I just know it's right. The time line is a blur and the reason why it's right is a blur, I just know it's right. As I've been searching my heart for these answers, I began to ponder the things we have made available on our profile. I truly believe that whatever baby is meant to be in our family, Heavenly Father will guide them to our arms. So this begins to beg the question, am I saying the right things so that we might be found? I've prayed and prayed for days about revising our profile. Our caseworker says it's a good thing to keep things fresh and to help us feel like we are doing something and I've got some really great tips from adoptive couples. I think it's time to go to the drafting board. Luckily as I brainstorm for the perfect words to say, our profile won't disappear (you know, just in case what we are saying is already the right stuff). Revise, revise, revise. I hope we can eloquently say what needs to be said so that our connections can be made.
